Leon W. Baldridge and João Veríssimo met over a haircut. João, Leon's barber, shared his vision and the challenges he faced while he cut Leon's hair. Leon saw how his marketing expertise could help turn that vision into a business. They began working together in a small office in the back room of a restaurant.
Aura launched online in October 2024 with a wine shop and catering for private events. In March 2025, it opened a boutique and tasting room on Rua 1º de Maio in Tavira, with catering continuing alongside it.
Leon and João are your contacts for Aura's export offer.
Aura Wines works with restaurants, hotels and wine retailers and delivers across Europe.
